Enter at least one additive
TBN and treat rate.

Formula & Methodology
TBN_blend = Σ ( TBN_i × wt_fraction_i ) where: TBN_i = TBN of component i (mgKOH/g, ASTM D2896) wt_fraction_i = treat rate of component i ÷ 100 Linear blending rule — valid for treat rates < 15 wt%. Base-oil TBN is typically 0–1 mgKOH/g for mineral oil.

TBN per ASTM D2896 (potentiometric perchloric acid titration). Linear blending is the standard approximation at typical concentrations.
